Our garden
Apple tree

The Orchard

We were able to take over more than 20 fruit trees from the previous users of the garden area, which we have been maintaining ourselves since 2013 and are constantly expanding. 20 different varieties of apples as well as pears, quinces, cherries, and mirabelles offer an ideal snack during late summer and autumn while working in the garden - or sometimes even a whole meal!

Berry bush

The Berries

In the southern part of the garden, in the shade of some trees, lies our forest edge zone with blackberries and raspberries, blackcurrants, and gooseberries.

the ponds

The Ponds

There are two ponds that are connected with each other. The warm, humid climate creates an insect paradise with numerous wild plants, willows and gooseberry bushes. Newts and dragonflies can often be observed.

A mushroom log

The Mushrooms

Various small mushroom gardens are spread across the grounds under the trees. From simple oyster mushrooms to colorful lemon oyster mushrooms, you can find various exciting varieties if you look out for them in the right place at the right time. The moist soil and the subdued light under the trees create ideal conditions for the mushrooms to thrive.

The Vegetable Patches

There are six big vegetable patches, that can be used to plant a plethora of veggies. Normally, you can find zucchinis, pumpkins, kales, melons, beans, corn tomatoes, as well as various other kinds of vegetables in the summer.
